The "Pioneer" Years

In the 1990s, homeschooling looked a lot different than it does today. As a young mom, I started at my own kitchen table, driven by a desire to provide my children with a high-quality, Christ-centered education. Those years weren’t just about textbooks; they were about stewardship. I learned firsthand that every child is a "vessel" designed with a specific purpose, and as parents, we are the ones called to fill that vessel with wisdom, character, and truth.

A Legacy Continued

Today, my title has changed from "Homeschool Mom" to "Homeschool Grandma." Watching a second generation embark on this journey has only deepened my passion for supporting families. What began as a personal mission for my own family evolved into His Vessel Academy, where we’ve spent years providing comprehensive, year-long academic classes for the homeschool community.

The Birth of HV Tutoring

Through the Academy, we noticed a growing need that went beyond the traditional classroom setting. We saw students who excelled in a group but struggled with one specific concept, and parents who wanted the flexibility of short-term, topic-specific deep dives.

We launched HV Tutoring to fill those gaps. Whether it’s a single hour of one-on-one focused attention or a four-week "short course" on a difficult subject, we are here to provide the precision your child needs to regain their confidence.

When you sign up for a writing workshop, we focus on writing. We respect the parent’s role as the primary educator; our job is to support your academic goals without the distraction of outside agendas.
